Lynne is part of the Division of Nursing team working as a Lecturer on the Post-graduate Health Visiting/School Nursing programme. Lynne joined 69传媒 in August 2022. Since qualifying as a child health nurse from Napier University in 2010, as a mature student, Lynne has pursued a career predominantly in the community and completed her BA (Hons) Diploma as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse in 2013 from 69传媒. Going on to work primarily as a Health Visitor within East Lothian for 8 years before taking up a Team Manager position of the East Lothian Health Visiting service. During this time Lynne had developed a keen interest in supporting trainee Health Visiting students completing 2 masters level modules through 69传媒 in the facilitation and assessment of learning in specialist community practice environments. This allowed Lynne to work initially as a Practice Teacher and then Practice Assessor supporting a number of students in their professional journey.
Lynne's research interests include maternal, child and family health Nurse education Leadership theories.
Lynne teaches on Health Visiting/School Nursing Programmes, supporting students in practice placement Working alongside PS/PA to support practice learning Supporting learning and development of PS/PA roles.
